“ I want to start off by saying, the food was amazing. Loved every single dish we ordered, the sangria was the best one I’ve had & even the complimentary bread was nice. My favorite dishes of the night were definitely the gambas and swordfish. My only small complaint was the chaos in the restaurant. While I 100% understand it is restaurant week and with that it’s expected to have a full house, the restaurant was clearly overbooked. We had a 7:15pm reservation, but were not seated until 8pm. When we walked in, it was a bit overwhelming because you could barely squeeze through all the people lining up waiting on tables. However, kitchen staff came to the front several times to bring complimentary snacks for all the waiting guests, that was a nice thoughtful gesture. Once seated, service was a bit slow, but again, completely understandable with how full the restaurant was. Our server was great, patient & apologetic for the craziness. With that being said, I still had a positive experience & would definitely return again, maybe just not during restaurant week. I left with a full belly & a lot of respect for the hardworking staff, from the hosts, to the cooks & servers & bartenders. ”

“ My friends and I came here for tapas and sangria for my bachelorette weekend. We had the best time!! Our waitress, Abbie, was so helpful and made sure we got the best bang for our buck. She bought us some drinks to celebrate, and had great recommendations throughout the night. The staff was amazing and the manager also bought us drinks and delivered them in a fun, creative way. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be returning soon! ”

“ Great tapas spot. Lots of options and great atmosphere. Patatas bravas are some of the best I’ve had in the US. Croquettes were great too. Didn’t get any wine but seem to have a wide selection of Spanish wines including select flights. Wish they gave you complimentary bread for the leftover butter/oil from the gambas. ”

“ Food and atmosphere are amazing here, great spot for a date night or special occasion. Prices are somewhat high but worth it for the quality and atmosphere. Service is usually pretty great, but can be a bit busy sometimes slowing things down a bit. ”

Service was a little slow but we went on a Friday during peak hour so there’s that. The pan con tomate was really delicious, as was the croquetas. ”

“ We had an amazing experience at this wine bar! Abby and Taylor were absolutely perfect—warm, attentive, and made us feel taken care of the entire evening. The bread was freshly made and delicious. We ordered the Parrillada Barcelona plate, a bottle of wine, and a few small tapas, and everything was spot on. Great food, great wine, and truly outstanding service. Highly recommend! ”

“ The food was outstanding. I had the stuffed dates (6/10), swordfish(9/10), chicken thigh (10/10), carrots (10/10). I felt like the dates were slightly out of balance, just a bit too sweet overall. The fish and chicken and carrots were all just fabulous. Every sauce was so delicious. I highly recommend this place depending on what you are looking for. The atmosphere is different depending on where you sit, because the inside feels totally different than the outside. Inside the restaurant is very very loud with industrial loft type furniture. I felt like the noise level was really high due to the concrete floors and abundant metal throughout the design and the music level. The outside had about 8 to 10 tables with lots of umbrellas up for shade. After sunset they light candles, so the ambience was really nice. The outside patio was also much quieter. They had 80s music playing low/mid level. I was originally sitting at a table right by the exit door, but it was really stifling. The waiter noticed me fanning myself and suggested that I move over by the fan. That helped immensely. That corner just must be in a dead air area. If I recommend anything to the restaurant it would be to add more fans out there. With the Charlotte Humidity seems fans are an absolute must when sitting outside in July. ”
